The Management Team The management team is composed of a group of professionals with diverse backgrounds. Managers that have proven themselves and concentrated on one or more of the following characteristics: Expertise in travel and tourism practice, consultant and professional business experience, small business financial services expertise, business development professionals and management of information systems. Ronald Kritzler, CEO/Founder Eduardo Brender, Co-Chairman/Co-Founder Peter E. Pincus CTC, CMO /Co-Chairman Thamara Flasz K., Executive VP /Co-Founder Federico Belloni - Advisor in Technology Bill Scott, Chief Business Advisor Ronald Kritzler, CEO/Founder: Ronald brings to Tourania 7 years of information services and Internet product development expertise. Ronald was part of getconnected.com team where he served as Director of Product Development. He led CompuServe Venezuela during his 4th year and as Director of Marketing. Ronald has kept himself in the loop of technology and Internet trends working on independent telecommunication and Internet projects while doing his Master. Ronald obtained a business degree in 1995 in Universidad Metropolitana and a MS Telecommunications from CU at Boulder in 1999. Eduardo Brender, Co-Chairman/Co-Founder: Eduardo brings to Tourania an entrepreneurship background and project management skills. Eduardo has managed two $12 million construction projects, the delivery and logistics of materials, and supervised contractors and their construction crews, approximately 80 members. Eduardo obtained a Civil Engineer degree and he is currently an MBA candidate at Babson College. Peter E. Pincus CTC, CMO /Co-Chairman: Peter brings to Tourania 28 years of expertise in all facets of the travel industry, including airlines, tour operators, and travel management companies. Peter has been a business and information technology consultant to travel agents, airlines and governments in the US and Latin America since 1995 when he formed Consultek, Inc. Peter sits on the board of Grupo Global 98, an important Venezuela travel agency consortium. Peter is the Latin American representative of TRAMS, Inc. one of the largest providers of travel agency back office software in the US, which is used by nearly 11,000 travel agencies in the US and the Americas. He has more than 10 years experience as a senior manager with several prominent mega agencies including American Express. Peter is a recognized figure in the travel and tourism industry. Thamara Flasz K., Executive VP /Co-Founder: Thamara has been involved in the travel industry since 1971 and brings to Tourania expertise in the Latin-American market. As owner and Vice-President of Queen Tours, a well-established travel agency in Venezuela, Thamara has successfully established herself as a prominent and recognized industry professional with numerous awards and business recognition for her accomplishments. As a Co-Founder of Grupo Global 98 and a SKAL member, her expertise and industry knowledge represents an asset required to establish an important presence in the area. Previous to Queen Tours, Thamara worked for Italy's national airline Alitalia. Federico Belloni - Advisor in Technology: Mr. Belloni has an accumulated experience of 6 years in technology issues, operating systems, programming languages, communications protocols, systems engineering and development of products for Internet; he worked for Asterisco Software as Development Director, and now is the development and programming manager of Briton & Kasey a Venezuelan company. He has been in charge of several projects in telecommunications area, Intranets and On-Line systems for different companies in Venezuela as abroad. Bill Scott, Chief Business Advisor: Bill brings to Tourania 20 years of VP expertise in the B2B publishing business, 11 of them in the travel and tourism industry. Bill is a travel business figure with strong industry recognition and respect. He worked for Cahners Travel Group in various position ending as Senior Vice President of the group, where he held full responsibility for the periodical group comprised of Travel Weekly; TravelAge West, Meetings & Conventions Magazine, Travel Management Daily Newsletter, twcrossroads.com, e-commerce travel, Travel Management Daily On-site, Official Cruise Guide, Official Meetings and Facilities Guide, and the Official Meetings and Facilities Guide International. Bill's expertise include sales and marketing, general management, operations management, profit and loss, employee development, extensive international management, business development, new product creation, editorial development, IT advancements, system design, recruitment, and strategic planning. Previous to his career at Cahners, he held the position of Vice President/Group Publisher, Publisher 20/20 Magazine at Jobson Publishing Corporation. |
